Since 1956...
Pizza King Inc., originated in 1956 in the heart of Lafayette, Indiana. Owner Wendell Swartz from Lafayette had an idea to open a pizza restaurant. Wendell’s vision and passion for culinary expertise created the perfect ingredients of Pizza King’s “secret recipe.” Come 1966, when Wendell was ready to sell, whom better to buy the business from him than his trusted employee who managed his books, Don Schutz. 5 stores were already established when Don bought the business, and he knew he could grow it even more, and he did.
The Next Generation
2020 marked the beginning of the next generation with Bogan Family purchasing Pizza King, Inc.
The team leads the 60+ partner stores with recent investments in technology, marketing and online ordering capabilities.

This includes fresh ground pepperoni, pure pork, specially made sausage, and our special blend cheese.
